Charles P. Pierce @CharlesPPierce

Is it time yet to point out that only one D candidate has promised to bring these crooks to justice if she gets elected??

That she is Elizabeth Warren, the defender of our democracy.

Isn't that what we are complaining about now - that Trump is telling Barr whom to prosecute? That's not supposed to be how it works. I would assume any Dem will appoint an AG who would prosecute people who need prosecuting, but the president is supposed to stay out of it.

AS James Nance Garner once said; ' The Vice Presidency isn't worth a bucket of warm piss". You have no power at all. As AG she could kick ass and take names. The only thing a VP does is hang around in case of you know what. Harry Truman didn't even know about the Manhattan Project until FDR died. I always figured you have to blackmail or threaten somebody to take the job. I don't think it influences elections a bit. Even Palin didn't seem to hurt McGrumpy.
