The elephant in the room regarding Biden....

Why are none of the talking heads addressing how the ratfucking of Joe
Biden that the *resident's lawyers effectively passed off as an impeachment defense, caused him to be seen as a candidate who could not be elected?
They did exactly what Zelenski refused to do...dirty up Biden.
The talking heads are acting like this poor showing in the primary is all Joe's fault.
So doing, they too are advancing the dirty narrative.

Sorry if you have already seen this. I moved it from general discussion.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

Biden’s national polls were strong all throughout the impeachment mess. There wasn’t much of a sign it was hurting him. He only starting tanking in polling very recently. It’s hard to say that can be attributed to Trump because why didn’t it happen before?

...that voters in Iowa and NH were just more impressed with other candidates after hearing from them for almost a year. Most of Biden's support came from the idea that he was "electable", which flew out the window once the first two states actually voted.

He kind of tried to ignore it like it wasn't there. If trump has succeeded to bring down Biden it might prove to be a mistake because now he's going to have to deal with Bloomberg. Mike is really the only one who can out spend him. Any other candidate will be at a huge financial disadvantage. Mike can go toe to toe with him all the way to the end.

His comments in the first debate, his general aura of looking tired...I just decided he didn’t have what it takes. I have several friends who came to the same conclusion for the same reasons.

I have great respect for the man; I just don’t think he can do it.

I agree the dirty bullshit sucks and they should be held accountable, but I doubt it made as much of an impact in this primary as you might think. These are all Democrats or otherwise better informed independents, so very likely to not find Trump's Biden BS as credible. Be different if this was a general election, then I would agree. Biden has spent very little time in the state, very little advertising and pulled it back some weeks ago, and left the state early on. This in addition to conceding it on national TV. This does not suggest someone prepared to take Trump on head to head.

To instill doubt in a Biden candidacy. In addition, Graham pledged to investigate the Bidens (2016 all over again). However, let's not fool ourselves. Trump is going to muddy whoever is our nominee and the Trumpublikkkans won't play fair. We need a candidate with a strong backbone, someone who can fight back. It's just getting started folks. Buckle up.

like the criminal clown he is. The GOP were going to ratfuck Biden *hard* on this, one way or the other, because their strongest case for Trump is "Hey, the Democrats do the exact same stuff as us. So ignore the corruption and just vote for lower taxes and no Mexicans."

And they will continually throw "socialism/ communist/raise your taxes" at Bernie....and it'll work, unfortunately. Just wait.

On edit: We Dems will feel we cannot "dirty" ourselves with Bloomberg; we hate billionaires and cannot accept Bloomberg's reasoning, apology, or offer of help, despite the fact that black leaders are now saying they're supporting Bloomberg! Congressional Black caucus spokesman, Gregory Meeks, is on Chris Matthews right now saying this.

Read what prognosticator Prof.
Rachel Bitecofer predicts (she got the last few elections right) if we go with my former first choice, Bernie Sanders:
