(by Kurt Eichenwald, article from Nov. 2016)

So what would have happened when Sanders hit a real opponent, someone who did not care about alienating the young college voters in his base? I have seen the opposition book assembled by Republicans for Sanders, and it was brutal. The Republicans would have torn him apart. And while Sanders supporters might delude themselves into believing that they could have defended him against all of this, there is a name for politicians who play defense all the time: losers.
..
Then there's the fact that Sanders was on unemployment until his mid-30s, and that he stole electricity from a neighbor after failing to pay his bills, and that he co-sponsored a bill to ship Vermont's nuclear waste to a poor Hispanic community in Texas, where it could be dumped. You can just see the words "environmental racist" on Republican billboards. And if you can't, I already did. They were in the Republican opposition research book as a proposal on how to frame the nuclear waste issue.

I have no doubt you did.

Just as I have no doubt you never bothered to read Sander's speech on why he voted to do that, how it was a necessity of geology supported by scientists at the time.

But hey, I guess if pretending the last 5 years didn't happen makes you happy....

"Bless your heart" is usually the equivalent of "FU" in the South, and I am a Southerner, so I know what I am talking about. LOL.

But, here's what I've got. It appears that Bernie and Mayor Pete will each get 9 delegates out of NH.

It was a tie, and Bernie should have won it outright.

Pretty sure of that.

The whole thing seems crazy to me.

In New Hampshire Sanders wins by 2% so he and Buttigieg get the same number of delegates

Meanwhile, in Iowa, sanders get more votes so he loses by .1% which means Buttigieg gets two more delegates. Oh and they won't change the results no matter how many errors they find.

I know, different states and different rules. But the whole thing just seems kind of whack. I am with the guy who said whoever got more votes should get more delegates.
