The not so hidden racism implicit in every "stop and frisk" policy.

It is claimed by many that stop and frisk reduces crime. And in a very limited sense, that can be true. But when the right speaks of crime, they never mean the trillions of dollars worth of white collar crime that takes place in this country. They do not mean systemic bank fraud, or securities fraud, or election fraud.

They mean low level drug possession crimes and violence crime, and mainly the crime that takes place in non-white areas of the large cities.

We do not see stop and frisk applied in rural areas with high rates of drug abuse, and where much of the methamphetamine supply is manufactured.

We do not see stop and frisk applied to crooked financiers.

We do not see stop and frisk applied to manufacturers who violate the law by releasing toxins into the air.

We do not see stop and frisk applied to big businesses that specifically hire undocumented aliens to work in their factories.

No, stop and frisk is reserved for non-white urban areas.

Funny how that happens.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

And by crime, he meant the types of crimes that are used to penalize minority communities.
