Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumEnjoyed watching Amy on Rachel tonight...
Her long term view and perseverance reminds me of the line - slow and steady wins the race.
She has determination and grit, common sense.
I quite like it.

(8,166 posts)She's always been a joy to watch on Rachel.
Not long ago I was laughed at/taunted for saying I liked her Midwest/Minnesota almost Canadian-like niceness/charm.

(4,858 posts)...and I had to point out that none other than Joe Biden is also known for a sharp temper with his staff in private. (I owe this to a cousin with Capitol Hill experience.) I don't particularly appreciate this trait in either of them, or indeed in anybody...but in a very busy, very important environment, it's understandable. Jeb Bartlett blew his stack sometimes, if I recall... and I also note that Amy gets attacked for this, and Joe does not. Gee--I wonder why that is...?

I can't fid the article (it was in like 2010/11) I'll keep looking as this will be coming up again, but part of it explained that if you wanted to advance as a staffer and move up fast, join one of their staffs.

(23,325 posts)... at this point, my vote would go to Amy. I don't actually have to vote until the week after Super Tuesday, so much could change by then.
There are so many good people running. On the "D" side.
