There will be 2 Debates before Super Tuesday. And the DNC was right to let Bloomberg in!

February 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada moderated by MSNBC.NBC

and

February 25th in Charleston, South Carolina moderated by CBS

Good.

At least voters will get to see Michael Bloomberg on stage twice before Super Tuesday voting on March 3rd.

Some people have complained in the last few weeks about the DNC changing the debate qualifications to allow Bloomberg to participate.

But in hindsight, that seems like it was the correct call considering how Bloomberg is surging in the polls. He's currently in 3rd or 4th place in the major trackers!

Imagine if he was allowed to parachute into Super Tuesday with out being vetted in a single debate.

Credit where Credit is Due, the DNC made the right decision in permitting Bloomberg to be in these two vital debates.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

But I think that it was "wise" of the DNC to do so. We've never seen anything like Michael Bloomberg before.

On the surface, it is probably not fair, but we are facing a crisis.

I abhor the rule change after so many politically qualified candidates were shut out, but the best thing that could happen is if Sens. Sanders and Warren expose Bloomie for what he is. It's the best shot Warren has to get back some momentum.

Let's see if he is up to it.

Honestly, I hope he is. I would vote for Biden in a heartbeat over Bloomberg.

Town hall slot for the next day?

I have no idea if he is going to attend the debate. And if he is invited, but fails to show, then that should be made clear by everyone else on that stage.

Do they have the right to do that, or does he have to file in order to be an option out there? Can they choose him, like the way people sometimes write in a candidate's name on the ballot?

How could he meet it without organizing? Also, The early vote sheet has no write in box. Just uncommitted.

https://mobile.twitter.com/RalstonReports/status/1227823740873891841

Caucus rules:

For precincts electing 2 delegates, viability shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the eligible caucus attendees present and expressing presidential preference, plus the raw number of early vote participants from the precinct.
○ For precincts electing 3 delegates, viability shall be one-sixth (1/6) of the eligible caucus attendees present and expressing presidential preference, plus the raw number of early vote participants from the precinct.
○ For precincts electing 4 or more delegates, viability shall be fifteen percent (15%) of the eligible caucus attendees present and expressing presidential preference, plus the raw number of early vote participants from the precinct.
○ Upon the conclusion of the announcement of results from the initial alignment, if and only if there are any non-viable preference groups, the eligible caucus attendees in those groups will have up to another fifteen (15) minutes to realign with a viable group. Early vote results for non- viable groups will be aligned with their next viable preference(s). This process is the second alignment.
