8. I've met Joe quite a few times. He is such a good person, it hurts to see him smeared.

I observed up close-up in many large and small public events over the years, where he would chat with anyone who wanted to talk, from the bus boys to powerful politicians. Never once saw him treat anyone with anything less than empathy and respect.
