Being the first contests, they obviously have more effect on the race than later contests, that's just a fact.

I would love to see Harris, Booker, and Castro still competing.

Harris was polling in single digits in her home state.
Sanders has also been polling well from the start among Latino voters but they seem to get left out quite a bit around here.
