Who mistreats staff? A friend in my state senator's office sent me this.

I suppose every candidate is fair game....my point is this Amy/Biden negativity needs to be put into perspective.

We all have ‘moments’- candidates have expectations...

It’s all small change compared to the raging browbeating nincompoop in the WH.

On Edit: Ah - I reread your post - I guess that's your point! Cheers.

Questions about Ms. Klobuchar’s actions toward subordinates have shadowed the early days of her 2020 presidential campaign, with articles in HuffPost and BuzzFeed News by turns fueling the hard-driving reputation that has followed her for years in Washington and angering supporters who see sexism in the criticism.

Ms. Klobuchar, 58, has allowed that she has “high expectations.”

“Am I a tough boss sometimes? Yes,” she said at a recent CNN forum. “Have I pushed people too hard? Yes.

Despite employee turnover that perennially ranks near the highest in the Senate, Ms. Klobuchar has defenders among her former staff. She noted at the forum that some people had been with her for many years.

Yes, Biden, Sanders, Klobuchar, et al

It all rises ( or sinks) to the level of “ but her email” dumbassery.

We have a most serious job to do. We must save our democracy,

Knock it off already!

I have heard rumors about the other two. Do you have a source for that?

I do think how a politician treats their staff is important. It says a lot about who they are as a person, and in some ways it's a test of authenticity to me. If, for example, Klobuchar is the nice, even-tempered woman up on the stage but turns into the wicked witch of the west the second the cameras stop rolling, it makes me question what else is fake about the side of her we see. I'd say that's a little less true for Bernie (and maybe Biden too) because they sometimes get grumpy on camera too.

Similar stories to Sanders, Klobuchar.

These stories are out there about all the main candidates.

My view is that we ignore them. They are on a par with

“ but her emails”.

Other than not be liberal enough, which is a reasonable frustration, but that's wholly separate from whether or not he mistreats his staff.
