Bernie and his Supporters are Ruthless

It's true. The will do anything to win. Fight, battle, destroy and yes, even hurt the feelings of pundits and other critics.

They will even be even much more worse against trumpy and their well reimbursed media supporters.

They will hound them until they reach the gates of hell itself. Because surely those who dare put babies in cages, will go to the fires of hell if they do actually exist.

And after President Sanders is inaugurated, they will demand justice.

They will hunt down and prosecute those who enabled Putin and his gop lackeys to destroy our election where the votes clearly wanted our President to be Hillary Clinton, instead of the madman that resides in the White House today.

Then they will lead the battle to reach the dream of Dems since Roosevelt; Universal Healthcare.

Bernie and his supporters will then lead fights to ensure Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid are protected and benefits increased.

I could go on and on about how a Sanders administration will change our world. The world of the citizen. Not the billionaires.

But, why should I bother when so many others make the case for why Bernie will win the Primary after a tough battle to protect and follow the soul of the Democratic Party. And when many will make the same case when Bernie wins an easy General Election.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

So you want him and his loyal base to leave when he he has the highest ratings of favorable opinion of him. Hes at a 74% favorable, Amy is at what 44% favorable opinion. https://morningconsult.com/2020-democrat in poll after poll he leads in people having the most favorable view of him over any of the others.

Yes does he have some rabid supporters that make go a bit far, sure. You know why he has that when others dont, because he gives his supporters passion. They know he will fight for the common person and not sell out to the highest bidder. They know he, along with just a small handful of others could possible save that. His supporters know if we get another corporate centrist we are done for,. We are heading for a cliff right now do we want to just go off the edge slower or do we want someone e who will try to steer in a new direction.

Are you into the sarandon mode? You know, that shit about how Hillary was just like trump?

So yes. If those who want Bernie for our candidate decide to stay home or vote third party or vote for trump, then they are willing to blow up the country if they get their feelings hurt.

You have no idea who I am. I've been a socialist as long as Bernie. I want everything that he rants about. But I learned what he hasn't. I'd rather Medicare for all, but Obamacare is better than no care. I'd rather have free college, but a sane reworking of the loan program is better than betsy voss sticking to the working class student. You see - it isn't about me and my little feelings. It's about getting something done. Each of the Democratic presidents that you hate so much has moved the country toward better policy. Every time we run someone who can't win, the republicans take most of that back. I'll take two steps forward and one step back over three steps backward.

But that's just me. I can give up a little of my fantasy for a better reality.

Why should we trust Bernie given how ruthless he is. He disregards pledges and throws would be allies under the bus at the slightest provocation. He attacks the media and repeatedly shows disdain for Democracy by attacking the integrity of elections. Its as though he is trying to copy the Trump playbook in order to elevate himself. This is not about a movement. What you describe is pure narcissism where he is going to elevate himself above all others. An endorsement by Joe Rogan? Why not. Scapegoat immigrants with Lou Dobbs? He has done that. Vote for the F-35 and gun maker immunity? Sure.

The question is why should we trust someone who would ruthlessly pursue power without principle? His promises are far more expensive than even Trump's wall, yet we are expected to believe that he has plan for paying for it?

They should probably reconsider the harassment of potential allies. All that's doing is alienating people and making his supporters look bad, and by extension, his campaign. Though, to be honest, alienation sometimes seems like part of the official strategy.

They might come to regret that if there's a contested convention.

The playing field is so tilted towards ignoring the world's real problems someone giving power to the 99% seems out of line.

The status quo is killing the planet, in case no one has noticed.

People are dying from lack of medical care despite Obama, and Biden's best efforts. Mostly because of Republicans, but the issue is larger than Republicans.

I have been sold out so many times, I am ready for a candidate who will fight for me to the end, whatever the end is.

Using some of the 50 TRILLION the 1% has amassed to fix our healthcare system, and planet sounds good to me. Perhaps it is 60 trillion now.

Sanders: I'm 'prepared to work with' Trump

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders said Wednesday he is willing to collaborate with President-elect Donald Trump going forward but warned he would "strongly oppose" the Republican should he continue to pursue his most extreme policy proposals.

Acknowledging Trump's success in taping into economic resentment in his astounding electoral win Wednesday morning, Sanders cast Trump's candidacy in a light similar to his own failed presidential run during the Democratic primaries.

“Donald Trump tapped into the anger of a declining middle class that is sick and tired of establishment economics, establishment politics and the establishment media," the senator said in a statement released Wednesday.

Trump And Sanders Try To Show New Hampshire They Can Reach Across The Aisle
In a presidential election season that’s seen plenty of partisan fights, Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Bernie Sanders were among the candidates in Manchester, New Hampshire, Monday who were promising to reach across the political aisle if elected.

As WBUR's Fred Bever reported both men were out to demonstrate that they are practitioners of the art of compromise.

http://america.aljazeera.com/articles/2015/9/14/sanders-reaches-across-aisle-at-liberty-university.html

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/02/19/us/politics/bernie-sanders-2020.html

While often viewed as a pesky left-wing gadfly, he is also known to reach across the aisle, working on legislation with Senator Charles E. Grassley of Iowa and Senator John McCain of Arizona, both Republicans. He has rationalized voting for the 1994 crime bill, now heavily criticized for some of its draconian provisions, by saying he had favored progressive parts of the bill, including the Violence Against Women Act, while strongly opposing measures that would lead to mass incarceration.

Bernie Sanders’ Republican Buddy Reaches Across the Aisle To Endorse Clinton

Sanders’ longtime friend Tony Pomerleau, a prominent Republican businessman and developer in Sanders’ hometown of Burlington, Vermont, offered his support for Clinton this week, framing his endorsement in a historical context.

Said Pomerleau:

I am a loyal Republican born in 1917 and the first time a woman could vote was in 1919,” the letter reads. “I will be most happy to cast my vote to the first woman president of the United States of America. I am a loyal friend of Bernie Sanders and in Vermont they call us the ‘Odd Couple.’”

"the votes" WEREN'T FUCKING THERE.

Whether we like the Electoral College or not - and I personally detest it - IT IS THE LAW OF THE LAND.

The votes did not "want" Hillary Clinton to be President of the United States of America where the Electoral College is the LAW.

That fucking sucks but it is reality.

WHY did the votes not want Hillary Clinton to be President?

Excellent question. That's probably one we should be working on. Because it isn't going to be any better in 2020 as far as the law and the ratf*cking are concerned.

If BS and his supporters can't even face that reality, I do not want to see the hopes of this country vested in them.
