(39,351 posts)Sorry, but only a)a hater or b)someone who doesnt see any value in her overall message would call that discrediting herself.

(81,847 posts)And I get that she needs to blame someone other than herself, her campaign, and her message. It makes sense if she's going to try to keep it afloat. But if we can't name 1 state where she is going to win, she's not going to win.

(94,383 posts)I've been a regular contributor to Warren's Senate campaigns (fun fact: big dollar fundraisers!), and I've acknowledged the strength of her ground operations. I've also commented that there's no value in trying to sway opinion here, since it has no impact on the real world, so I have no incentive to "depress" Warren supporters. I report things about the Primary, regardless of the candidate and regardless of whether they're positive or negative.

(39,351 posts)Youre overhyping one line in a fundraising email. If she were pushing this as a main talking point on the stump you might have something. Shes not.

(15,555 posts)Except in those cases where she appears in person on a network, Warren has been erased from the media narrative of contenders- even Biden is getting more discussion, albeit much of it negative, with SC being his last hope.
If Warren can make it through March, she may find herself in a three person race, and may become the most palatable option for those who dont want Bernie or Bloomberg.

(13 posts)Bernie seems to complain the most about the media, but to me, they seem to be coddling him. I keep hoping they start vetting him before he wins the nomination and Trump vets him. I won't hold my breath, though.

She will have no problem vetting Bloomberg from what I see.

(49,952 posts)The bar chart below shows the number of mentions of each candidate on CNN, MSNBC and Fox News from Jan. 1, 2019 through Aug 22, 2019.
Online mentions of the candidates over the same time period reflect a slightly more balanced picture. Using data from the GDELT Project, major worldwide online news coverage in 65 languages was monitored for mentions of the candidates full names.
