Buttegieg's "revolution or the status quo" choice line

for me seems to miss an important point. Candidates throwing around "status quo" and "establishment" are running in a past that ignores a de facto new normal put in place by Trump. Trump's regime has created an establishment by laying waste to the very institutions that should stand as foundations on which to build change.

I've been paying attention to how candidates use language that addresses restoration of not a status quo or an establishment, but governance and democratic principles.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

why DUers are ignoring the very real fact that Trump has changed the fundamental form of the government. That legislation is needed to restore power to the people in more ways than economic policy. All branches of government have been affected, not by corruption only. We are in trouble as a nation. There is an urgency to now. The only candidates who I have ever really heard address what I am talking about are Biden and Harris. It worries me.

to get our government acting for all the people and not a self anointed cult leader. You know how Trump goes on and on about the deep state.. (which is straight from Putin). Well four more years of Trump and we will have a deep state of Trumpsters who will be established. I went to listen to Susan Rice in Ia City, and she touched on this and it just broke my heart to realize that all the people who actually make our government work on a non partisan basis are being run out of government .. and we are losing a talent base that will take longer than any 4 or 8 year period to rebuild.. especially in international relations.

That is why I am so adamantly Biden.. He knows what needs to be done.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
