Does large volume of Bloomberg ads raise price for others?

Supply and demand?
Just asking the question. I don’t know enough about the economics of TV ads— I know number of viewers is important but there’s only so many commercials that can run per hour.

Originally I just thought “hey, all these anti trump ads he is running are helpful” but on MSNBC the consequence of the ad buy might be different. Not a lot of people watching MSNBC need to be convinced that trump is bad news.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

anyway. They will be broke after primary. Trump and GOP will have 500 million for media. It will be a bloodbath this cycle. One reason I'm supporting Bloomberg.

So if three candidates do huge ad buys in the 7 - 10 slot so that nothing is left (no likely) how does the station accommodate candidates 4 - X in that time slot.

Advertizing is often heavily discounted in oredr to keep the slots full. There are only so many slots so if they are full rates go up. In general political advertizing doesn't usually get the lowest rates because they are not long term buys but I still think Bloomberg can raise the rates a some.
