Congratulations to our presumptive Democratic nominee, Joe Biden!
I spoke to a couple tonight in Alexandria, VA
The older gentleman looked frail but was on the ball and going on about the primaries. He didn’t care for Bloomberg. Thought the stop/frisk thing could really do him in. He and his wife were Biden all the way until he heard from Biden that his race was over and he was backing someone else. He said Klobuchar was ok and if Biden dropped before they voted in the primaries, he’d go with her. They vote March 3rd (Maine).
They started talking to us because they heard us asking the waitress for directions. We’re in Alexandria to take our daughter and friends to Katsucon. They gave us directions and asked us where we’re from. Hearing we were from Delaware, he launched into questions about and support of Biden.
He and his wife ended the convo with “Vote Blue, No Matter Who!” We all wished each other good luck!
