Buttigieg: I'm not going to be "lectured on family values" from Rush Limbaugh

Buttigieg: I'm not going to be "lectured on family values" from Rush Limbaugh
Jacob Knutson
Video @ link~

Pete Buttigieg responded on "Fox News Sunday" to comments by conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh, who received bipartisan criticism last week for saying voters aren't going to elect the former mayor because he's a "37-year-old gay guy kissing his husband" on stage after debates.

Why it matters: Limbaugh’s comments came only days after President Trump awarded him the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s top civilian honor, during the State of the Union address. Buttigieg is the first openly gay candidate to launch a major presidential campaign.

What he's saying:

"I am in a faithful, loving, committed marriage. I'm proud of my marriage. And I'm proud of my husband. And I'm not going to be lectured on family values from the likes of Rush Limbaugh or anybody who supports Donald J. Trump as the moral, as well as political leader of the United States. America has moved on, and we should have a politics of belonging that welcomes everybody."
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The tears in Joe's eyes in that picture make me want to tear up, myself, every time I see it. It really cheapens the honor to give it to Limbaugh. It chaps my hide to even imagine that Joe Biden and Rush Limbaugh are allegedly on the same level.

It will be hard to bask in our decency, while Barr's cops are at the door carting us off in handcuffs.

Decency is so Obamaesque. The turd doesn't have a decent bone in his body, and HATES that Obama does, and that Obama is so much more respected than HE will EVER be.

Pete doesn't have to be vindictive, all he has to do is be blunt with the truth. Americans can take it. I believe they/we are thirsty for it.

Pete needs to first get to the point where he can AFFORD to be decent. Then he can start rebuilding what the turd has worked so hard to destroy.

Then we can ALL be decent again. (OK, we can THINK about being decent, AFTER a little accountability... It may take a little time AND quite a bit of accounting... )

Read this, Ezekeil 25:17 from your majic book. That medal and flag decal won't get you into heaven anymore. Already overcrowded, from your dirty little wars. Besides a camal has a better chance of passing through the eye of the needle than this fat, drug riddled, cancerous ass. "You will know that I am the lord", after the rath struck upon you, and Pence, and Rubio, and Franklin et. al. A good quick read from an award winning author.

But is that the extent of what Flush said? Or was it more in the WAY he said it? Because my fear about Buttigieg is exactly that; middle America might not be ready to elect a gay man. It ain’t right, the world shouldn’t work like that, Pete Buttigieg seems like a great and honourable man, and Rush Limbaugh is still a scum sucking piece of shit, but all of that is irrelevant if tRump wins another term because America feels icky about two men kissing.

Of course, this is coming from the guy who was also worried that America wasn’t ready to vote in a black president, and thankfully I was wrong about THAT!
