Now that M4A has been conceded to be 'aspirational' the Magic Fairy Dust has relocated.

Bernie Sanders Gets a D- for His Climate Plan

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287251223

'Bernie Sanders released his climate change plan today, and Bernie being Bernie it was naturally the biggest, leftiest, most socialist plan out there. And that was the good part. The bad part is that it’s practically designed to fail.

If you’re going to propose a massive, $16 trillion plan, the first thing you should do is get as many people on board as possible. Instead, Sanders practically revels in pissing off as many stakeholders as possible. He’s going to tax the rich. He’s going to hobble the fossil fuel industry. He’s going to ban nuclear power. He’s going to nationalize electric generation and turn it over to the federal government.

And then there are the absurd promises. He’s going to create 20 million new union jobs. (No he’s not, unless he also creates 20 million new human beings.) He’s going to eliminate fossil fuels by 2030 at the latest. (I don’t think even the most optimistic environmentalist thinks we can build out solar and wind that fast.) Electricity will be “virtually free” by 2035. (Oh please.)'

"Magical thinking"? "Aspirational legislation"? The Sanders campaign like his 30 years in Congress, is based on big ideas, not actual accomplishments. "Getting things done" has never been the point.'

Start doing something now or face emergency measures later.

Tax the rich. Call the Whahmbulance

"Hobble the fossil fuel industry. About time

Ban Nuclear Power. About time.

"He’s going to nationalize electric generation and turn it over to the federal government."

Transform our energy system away from fossil fuels to 100 percent energy efficiency and sustainable energy by 2030 at the latest. The New Deal provided inexpensive electricity to America through efforts like the Rural Electrification Administration and the Federal Power Marketing Administrations. If the federal government was able to electrify America under FDR without computers or any of the modern technologies we have available to us today, think of what we can do today. Municipal and cooperative electric utilities still provide some of the least expensive electricity in the country today. As part of the Green New Deal, we will expand on that success.

We will end greed in our energy system. The renewable energy generated by the Green New Deal will be publicly owned, managed by the Federal Power Marketing Administrations, the Bureau of Reclamation and the Tennessee Valley Authority and sold to distribution utilities with a preference for public power districts, municipally- and cooperatively-owned utilities with democratic, public ownership, and other existing utilities that demonstrate a commitment to the public interest. The Department of Energy will provide technical assistance to states and municipalities that would like to establish publicly owned distribution utilities or community choice aggregation programs in their communities. Electricity will be sold at current rates to keep the cost of electricity stable during this transition.

I posted the article here but it dropped off 'my posts' somehow and now I can't find it.

Plus everyone gets a share in the electricity company. During his Senate race. The power company mentioned is now part of a $7 billion Canadian conglomerate. LOL

The same article in Burlington Free Press has Bernie saying no one should make a million dollars.

Free electricity has always been his thing...since the extension cord to the basement days.

Lots of good stuff here:
