It's like comparing apples to cesspools

I’m still undecided. Genuinely, honestly, undecided. Any candidate running is better than Trump. Anyone. It’s like comparing apples to cesspools.

I feel like a political ping pong ball. Back and forth, back and forth. For every zig, there’s a zag. Part of me thinks the dire situation in Washington requires someone with lots of experience, another part of me thinks most Washington problems could be resolved with vision and simple good judgement.

I so want to see a female president, but Kamala is out, Elizabeth is having difficulties and Amy is still clawing her way up from near the bottom of many polls. Age can bring wisdom, but I love Pete Buttigieg’s vision. Bloomberg’s past statements and positions leave me chilled, but he’s rising like a hot flame. I appreciate certain things about both Bernie Sanders and Joe Biden, but I honestly think I would prefer a brand new way forward. Steyer has some good ideas but less than a slim chance of winning the nomination.

It has been nearly six decades that I’ve voted for Democrats and I will again. I can’t help but wonder why this decision is so difficult, not just for me but for my family, friends and acquaintances. Could be disappointment over missed opportunities, angst over the state of all things Trumpian, being bogged down because we like a little of this over here and a little of that over there. Perhaps these next debates coming up will seal some kind of deal. Until then, I’m undecided like a chunk of DUers and, I’d guess, some regular voters.

What an important election this is.

what I have been thinking. I more and more would like to vote for Amy. I have long admired her and truly hope her numbers continue to climb.
