"SNIP.....
Joe Biden, Pete Buttigieg, Amy Klobuchar and Elizabeth Warren all must weigh the costs of punching Bloomberg where he looks most vulnerable: stop-and-frisk, charges of sexism, billionaire entitlement. The more zealous the attacks, the greater the risk he turns his campaign ATM against them, Axios reports.
Theyre already struggling to catch up with Sanders in national support and campaign dollars. Turning their focus toward Bloomberg only complicates that task.
Theres another risk, at least for the moderates: Weakening the one who may be best poised to stop Sanders, a democratic socialist, if they fail themselves.
First Read: So moderate Democrats across the country: Youll need to choose your fighter by Super Tuesday. Whos it going to be?
.......SNIP"

(24,122 posts)It's MIKE who should be scared of BERNIE when he calls out the Mayor for his questionable administrative policies that negatively affect the working class, POC, and those financially disadvantaged, among others.
Bernie/Elizabeth or Elizabeth/Bernie 2020!!
Either way, they're stronger together & can't be bought!!
Jump on the Bernie Bandwagon & join the revolution!!

(8,052 posts)He's wrong and speaks like an ass sometimes, but obviously has a conscience and sometimes does the right things. In the spirit of that, I'm not joining in the "take him down" frenzy that's going on right now on DU. He's just another candidate to me, and he would be worlds better than Donnie Dumbshit, and might even be a good President. Still my second choice after Amy.

(16,685 posts)and in recent years it has gone from going after candidates to denigrating people who support them as stupid, ill-informed, naive, establishment shills... you name it. There is a very steep cost to this kind of "vetting."
