(571 posts)The only reason people are supporting Bloomberg is fear. They fear that it will take a Bloomberg to beat Trump.

(945 posts)I much prefer a Biden but unfortunately I have a strong feeling that we are going to need a Bloomberg (someone who can peel off never-trump votes) to win

(102,270 posts)I've been leaning in this direction on Joe as well.
I have my ballot for Super Tuesday (Colorado primary) already so maybe Cher (voting, I presume in CA on Super Tuesday as well) and I will "join for Joe."

(15,100 posts)"doesn't have to learn on the job" is truth. His experience (and a past with a few warts) is crucial to righting the ship. His reputation in the world will help us get back on track. I'm currently undecided, but learning more every day about our wonderful candidates.

(9,651 posts)This is not a normal time in our history. If it were any other time, I would be fine with just about all of the candidates. But right now, with the crisis we are in, Joe is the one we need.

(9,651 posts)We sure have the cream of the crop. I can't even imagine how wonderful a 1-2 ticket would be with Joe and whomever he would pick.
Just thinking about that puts hope in my heart. And I need it! I know we all do.

(10,828 posts)I'll be voting for Joe Biden in the TN primary (early vote) tomorrow. I would not vote for Bloomberg in the primary. However, if Bloomberg somehow managed to snag the nomination, I would vote for him over Trump in the GE.
That goes for all our candidates.

(46 posts)I'd rank the two billionaire democratic candidates just above Tulsi Gabbard, but compared to Joe (and he's not my first choice), it's a no-brainer.

(9,073 posts)But I would crawl over broken glass to vote for him over Bloomberg. I cant even remember what I dislike about Joes running at the moment. I just know. A racist, misogynistic billionaire cannot be allowed to buy our nomination. It will ruin us and November.
Say whatever one wants about Joe Biden, he at
Least came to his place decently and honorably.

(38,687 posts)'Cher took to Twitter on Monday to voice her grammar-resistant support of former Vice President Joe Biden.
With a few weeks before she heads into the final leg of her Here We Go Again Tour (with Nile Rogers and Chic opening) the songstress who wishes to turn back time (and wants to know if you believe in life after love) let loose with some passionate albeit irregularly capitalized political statements.
Many Times In My Life Ppl Said,Shes,Untalented, Too Old For Movies,Music,The Stage.Dont Give Up Joe, the 73-year-old Oscar, Emmy, Grammy, Golden Globe and best actress award at the Cannes Film Festival (for Mask!) winner tweeted, defending Biden against ageist concerns.
Approximately an hour later she tweeted a second time, this time making clear that not even a Shiny,New,Tech Savey BILLIONAIRE would keep her from voting for Biden.'

(5,395 posts)for Americans to show that money can't buy an election, that experience and smarts and a concern for the welfare of the average US citizen is much more important, more important that all the gold in Fort Knox?
Realize this simple observation:
"I'm rich, I'm better than those who are not, I have no political experience, but I have a real faith that I can do the job real well. I'm a genius, real smart. So vote for ME!"
So who am I talking about? Trump or Bloomberg?
If you can't tell, then there is a possibility history is wanting to repeat itself.

(5,395 posts)Right now, it's a choice between Repub and Democrat and their respective overall values.
The actual Democratic candidate to be put forward against Trump is a secondary concern right now.

Both said to be able to attract disaffected Republicans and center leaning independents. Bloombergs entrance had arguably helped shift the horse race. She stated what she felt and so have others in responding.
