Pollster conflict of interest warning: Data for Progress is a pro-Sanders think tank

Today a pollster found Bernie Sanders to have an enormous lead in Nevada, followed by the other progressive in the race, Elizabeth Warren.

Data for Progress days in its own website that it is a pro-Medicare-for-All think tank that promotes everything that Bernie Sanders supports.

From their website: https://www.dataforprogress.org/

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:

Did the Sanders campaign reveal this poll was internal polling? Seems strange they'd keep that info uponit7771 Feb 2020 #2

Underestimated the moderate. Just a coincidence.

Bernie 22
Warren 19
Buttigieg 18
Biden 18

The initial alignment vote (which is what all Iowa polls were testing) was as follows:

Bernie 24.7
Buttigieg 21.3
Warren 18.5
Biden 14.9

That's pretty darn good.

For comparison, here's New Hampshire.

Final Poll:

Bernie 28
Buttigieg 26
Warren 14
Klobuchar 13
Biden 9

Actual Results:

Bernie 25.7
Buttigieg 24.4
Klobuchar 19.8
Warren 9.2
Biden 8.4

Not bad, though they underestimated Klobuchar's support. Everybody did.

primary today, I would vote for:

Would be a better description.
But they are not in the bag by any means. A solid poll. Be interesting to see if they come out with another this week.

But as a Klobuchar supporter I'm Jazzed by this. So far a small sample size of various polls but it looks like her pre-surge indicators are mirroring those of NH. For example when you consider how much of Warren's Second Choice number is dependent on Sanders supporters, Amy is now the clear second choice of the available voters.

As more data becomes available we will see if that is confirmed but the table is set for another surprising finish.
