My personal opinion is Bloomberg will get the votes of 1.87 disgusted

Republicans for every Bernie voter he loses. I would rather get rid of Drumpf without Republican votes, but we are in an existential crisis. Getting rid of the Orange one and the traitors in the Senate is what must be done.

Edited because of Schumer comparisons. K?

If I were to vote in a presidential

Hillary was a competent and decent public servant and a safe, moderate candidate - if this country was not stupid as shit the choice was not even close.

But, because of all the noise, all the bullshit, people just "felt" they did not like or trust her.

But only in America could the left see someone as a centrist sell out at the same time that the entirety of the right and a lot of the would be "middle" view the same candidate as a socialist.

In fact, Hillary was a decent, honorable, proven public servant with a clear track record of moderate business friendly policy accomplishments.

If you want to see record low turnout among POC and youth, while alienating white suburban women, then let Bloomberg buy the nomination. Bloomberg is a disaster. Come November, people would be so disgusted that we'd either see record low overall turnout or record high 3rd party voting, or both.

Bloomberg's history makes Clinton's "superpredators" comment seem like nothing.

I believe that Bloomberg can win our county, a large number of republicans here are chamber of commerce types that would be drawn to him. Because it will not just be the Bernie people.

There will be a general depression of Democratic turnout. I know most people don't see it but Bloomberg's appeal is all anti-Trump that is fine as far as it goes. What people don't see is the Trump response to that. It will all be making Bloomberg part of the Swamp. It will all be about not trading Trump for one of the Dark Masters of Davos. It will be Trump battling against the Choice of the global elite.

It will be a devastating attack actually. Disgust with Trump is huge, but it is now familiar.

Trump he may, as to electability, be or not. Dems here seem right now very willing to overlook incongruences with our stated stances on a range of issues that will prove either more or less concerning going forward. I expect we will get clarification after debates and appearances.

He is simply not yet vetted by the rigorous demands campaigns place on a candidate which include fielding competitor’s challenges, bad and good news cycles, tests of temperament, fickle public,
bad food, exhaustion...

I don’t see a basis to call it for or against him at this stage in terms of how voters will behave and his ultimate electability vs. those in the race much longer. Yes, he has more money than practically God and his anti-Trump ads have been met with great approval from many Dem voters.

One can make just about any assertion about his viability at this point.

62. I see swings more as casual, less aware voters. BorBs claim to be more keyed in.

So, if you claim to be an informed and focused voter, how on earth could you risk 4 more years of Trump by withholding your vote?

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

My opinion is Bloomberg will energize voter turnout without a doubt. As in republican voter turnout in opposition to him. You underestimate the republican base’s opposition to Bloomberg.

There are many more Bernie supporters than republicans who are disgusted with this guy.

The real question is how many people in the middle were holding their noses to vote for him because they didn’t like Hillary... and how many of those will find Bloomberg more palatable (compared to the millions on the left that he will almost certainly lose).

But the ones on the right who were disgusted with him four years ago? They’ve gotten almost everything they want. They’re hooked at this point.

Mike will do OK among Democrats.
Mike will clean up among the independents.
Mike will do well among moderate Republicans.

Bottom line is victory - it will not be close.

I like Mike.

Without those, all these things we debate turn to dust.

Bloomberg is the one most likely able to do that because he's the only one who understands how to run a race against Filthy Donnie and a race in post Citizens United America.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
