didn't do it 4 years ago... doesn't appear to do it now.

Not sure who we will nominate, but we NEED another Barack Obama.

I swear, the cognitive dissonance around Sanders is astounding.

10. are you saying that it is great that Sanders gets less crowd size than Obama did 8 years ago?

We have a weak field... that's why SO many jumped into the race.

It is going to be difficult to see us uniting behind one candidate this year... especially if no one has the delegates sowed up before the convention.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

11. Obama is a once in a million candidate. We have to move past him.

I sometimes wonder if having such a charismatic candidate ruined our future races because now everyone expects the same level of popularity. That's not possible and I don't expect it.

Nevertheless, Sanders is showing broad appeal and is hugely popular. Several other candidates show promise. But none of them (Sanders included) are going to perform on the same level as Obama.

and had less than 3000 at her rally.

Just sayin. Nobody this year is pulling in the crowds, especially young people and minorities, like Barack Obama did in 2008.

We need another Barack Obama.

Walter Mondale drew crowds as large as Obama. Every where he went literally 10's of thousands of people showed up. Crowd size means nothing.

primary today, I would vote for:

13. Vox: Trump's obsession with crowd sizes, explained
Tue Feb 18, 2020, 03:18 AM
Feb 2020

It is uncanny how Trump supporters and Bernie supporters are obsessed with crowd size:

https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2019/8/17/20809989/donald-trump-obsession-crowd-sizes-explained-new-hampshire-rally-2020

Late Friday night, President Trump continued his obsession with crowd size, tweeting not once, not twice, but three times about the number of people at his rally in New Hampshire the previous day. The tweets seemingly came in response to a trending hashtag that claimed the arena was not as packed as the president had boasted.

“Place was maxed out, totally packed, with thousands coming to the arena floor at start,” the president tweeted. “Thousands more outside that were not allowed in per code. Energy was really great to see.”

A minute later, Trump tweeted a photo of the crowd at the rally, and demanded that his followers “Look at the tremendous overflow at packed arena in New Hampshire last night.”
If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
