A. Sounds possibly taken out of context.
B. Everything he said was true.

He did say that Castro wasn't perfect and he was a dictator but he did get healthcare for the people of Cuba and everyone in Cuba is literate.

99.75%
According to UNESCO Cuba it has an adult literacy rate of 99.75%. Only in a few countries female literacy rates are above male literacy rates, in Cuba, 99.8% of all women aged 15 years and older are literate, compared to 99.71% of men. Compared to the rest of countries the literacy rate in Cuba is very high.

Bernie:

"Just because Ronald Reagan dislikes these people,
doesn't mean the people in their own nations feel the same way."

I defy you to find a single person on DU who would disagree with that statement, unless, of course, we love Ronnie Raygun now too.

Direct quote from Bernie:
"Castro and Cuba are not perfect"

Those bought in completely to the wonderment of a Sanders presidency just don't realize that the US is not going to elect a (democratic) socialist. Not in 2020. It will not happen.

Sanders will not soundly defeat Trump in the EC map. I wish people would see that this is all about strategy, and the Dems are playing right into the Republican's hands.

I don't even dislike Sanders, the person. But I know this is falling on deaf ears... This is so frustrating.
