Democratic Primaries

(34,857 posts)That's concerning that the supposed Democratic front-runner doesn't do the best head-to-head vs Trump. In reality, a popular vote margin of three-percent or less means a very likely close electoral college, which, again, means the election is going to come down to the three states Clinton lost and I just don't have the faith Sandere can win all three. He may be able to win one or two but not all three.

(761 posts)If he was nominated, by the time November got here he'd lose nationally by 10 points. Wonder how that'd look in the electoral college?

(34,857 posts)Add this poll, and it drops to roughly 3. I think that's definitely winnable but it will be very close. I don't look at just one poll - I look at all of them. Most show Sanders with a 2-3 point lead. That +8 is an anomaly, unfortunately.
For comparison, Biden's average lead os nearly six nationally - two-points better than Bernie. Had Clinton won the popular vote by two more points in 2016, she's revving up her reelection bid right now.
