Let's clarify where people here stand on Mike Bloomberg as a Primary candidate

I support Pete but will switch to Bloomberg if he doesn't make it through Super Tuesday. My wife supports Amy but will switch to Bloomberg if she fails to take off.

But only because I truly don't think Sanders has any chance at all in the GE. He might look OK at this point on a straight percentage poll, but there are too many states he can't get.

Nothing against Sanders specifically, but I do not believe he can win a GE. Why does everyone think Trump and the GOP are dancing with glee at the possibility of Sanders being the nominee? I an not crazy about Bloomberg, but he has a better chance of winning a GE in my opinion. He cannot be branded as a "Socialist". If Sanders is the nominee, I fear we will lose in a landslide.

After Super Tuesday the way forward should be more clear. Right now all we have is one BIG mess.

that we won't still have a big mess after Super Tuesday. Bloomie's money is going to give him some first and second place finishes in states that the other candidates won't have the money to compete in. We'll have a hodgepodge of winners, with nobody except Bloomberg (and Sanders) having a path to stay on in the game.

my fallback position. But having argued against all the crap that's being thrown at him for a few days, I'm realizing he's a much better candidate than the current front runner, and he has a MUCH better chance if winning than any of the others.

I'm in for Bloomberg. We have only one job in this election and he can do it. I really don't think the others can.

And as for race, I get that he had racist policies, but no more racist than Bernie and Biden, who are getting no heat whatsoever for their racist vote on the crime bill. And Biden actually wrote it. None of their hands are clean

And Bloomberg can beat Filthy Donnie.

ETA: He damn well better pick a black woman as his running mate.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
