This one precinct in Las Vegas shows people waiting 3.5 hours for early voting

Democratic caucusgoers in Nevada stood in line for more than three hours at one early voting precinct Saturday, according to people at the front of the line.

The precinct -- Palo Verde High School in Las Vegas -- had six volunteers present as of 5 p.m., ET. One volunteer, who did not want to be identified, said, "We need more."

In contrast to the problems experienced by the Iowa Democratic Party with an app used for calculating votes, the issue of long lines at this one precinct stems from large turnout, and not enough volunteers to process them.

Molly Forgey, a spokeswoman for the Nevada Democratic Party, said she was not aware of the long lines at this location, but the turnout was high in a lot of places and she had heard of a few other early voting stations that were busy. The NDP is addressing issues as they come up individually.

Early voters will fill out a paper ballot that allows them to rank candidates according to preference. Early voting ballots will only be counted if voters rank at least three candidates, and will be transmitted to voter's home precincts to be counted alongside election day votes.

the lines are long. It's 10:40 am now and the poll doesn't open until 1:00 pm. How silly is that?
And yesterday when I tried to vote they were closed because of President's Day (duh, that would've a been a good day to be open since people were off work). I was told the polls would open at 8:00 am. I got there at 7:50 to get in and out quick. They weren't open, turns out I was given the wrong time.

In primaries the polls open early in the morning so people can vote before work, and they stay open late. Hope this is the last caucus we have. They are just inconvenient.

I also tried to vote on Saturday but the line was around the block. I will try again today after the 1:00 poll opening—again, how silly is that, and I imagine the line will be around the block again. This early voting is supposed to save you from having to spend hours in the actual caucus coming up on Saturday but spending 3 hours to early vote is not saving time.

The 1:00 pm poll opening is just stupid.

I *REALLY* like how Oregon does their voting. Paper mail-in ballots. No inconvenience.

I wish all states did that.

I don't see how they can poll accurately with this voting method of ranking.
