Don't bet against Joe Biden just yet. He has an ace up his sleeve...Go Joe..You can do this..😎😄

Nevada, the next state voting in the Democratic presidential contest, is known for its casinos. It should be no surprise, then, that former vice president Joe Biden, goes into Saturday’s caucus with an ace up his sleeve: black voters

The polls, however, show the pundits are wrong. Biden has always been strongest among black voters, in part because he was vice president to Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president. Contrary to predictions, blacks have not abandoned Biden’s allegedly sinking ship. Instead, polls taken since New Hampshire in five different states by five different pollsters show Biden receiving between 36 percent and 41.5 percent of the black vote. That’s an amazingly consistent result and unlikely to be a coincidence

If Biden’s black support holds up that long, he will have prevented Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) from locking up the nomination before the convention. Democrats award their delegates according to a candidate’s share of the popular vote, so long as that person received at least 15 percent either statewide or in a congressional district. If Biden has locked up the black vote and former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg and former South Bend, Ind., mayor Pete Buttigieg are each breaking 15 percent of the white vote, then Sanders will not have a large delegate lead after four states vote on March 17. More than 61 percent of the delegates will have been awarded by that date; Sanders cannot win the remaining states by large enough margins to give him a majority before the convention.

Having said that I would have zero problem voting for him in the General Election. Zero. I have big reservations about Bloomberg and like Warren the best although I don't see a path for her.
Hoping for a brokered convention is insane though. If a candidate goes into the convention with the most delegates, even if it's only a plurality, putting someone else over the top will spell disaster.

After a first vote at the convention, the also rans could ask their delegates to vote for a candidate they felt best reflected their own platform.

If Bernie is at 35% or less, there are at least 65% that want something else. We effectively will have a national runoff at the convention.

It will be like a caucus, why wouldn't Bernie like that?

whom I believe can gain support from the largest swath of voters in the GE.

However, I am nervous over the recent Nevada poll showing him in fourth place, and the influence of Steyer and Bloomberg’s ability to invest in both their campaigns and in the state in S.C.

I though Biden’s campaigning and endorsements in Nev. very strong.

This is a valid theory for how Bernie might fall short of winning the nomination outright before the convention. It doesn’t do much to demonstrate that this would result in a Biden nomination.
