Open Letter to the Editors on the Recent Coverage of Amy Klobuchar
Amy would be there for us after a loss in the family or help make an important call instrumental to our careers. Shed celebrate our professional accomplishments and be part of our lives, whether it was dancing at our weddings or visiting us after we brought our newborns home. She was there for us in the hard times, too. And at the office, she pushed us to be better professionals and public servants. We remain grateful for our time in Senator Klobuchars office and still consider Amy a mentor and friend. Sadly, this was not fully conveyed in the recent news reports.

(31,261 posts)Likely not that uncommon. The pay was not all that good. I think a lot of them start on the office as young people, do things like get married and have kids, buy houses, their needs change and they move on.

(8,148 posts)dont careexceptions might be cruel behavior. I always took the mean Amy stories with a grain
of salt. How closely she conforms to the social demand that she, as a woman, please people and be a nurturing employer, does not sway me one way or another. Some tough conductors get beautiful music out of musicians. I wouldnt respect willful abusiveness, but cmon.
Does Amy Klobuchar have the qualifications, temperament, knowledge, and relevant experience to lead our nation and the world at this time in history? Many of you feel she does. Her growing numbers of supporters agree too.
Glad to see a resounding rebuttal, however.
