Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumIf Biden spends his time in the debate attacking Bloomberg,
he will be repeating the pattern of the campaign so far - assisting Sanders to get the nomination. You can say he is trying to clear out the moderate lane (gee that's worked out well so far), but Bloomberg isn't even standing in the next two contests.
When Sanders talked about raising taxes for M4A, Biden praised him for 'being honest'.
When Hillary was quoted saying 'nobody likes (Bernie)', Biden went over and hugged him.
On the final weekend of the NH, when Pete and Bernie were running neck and neck, Biden kneecapped Buttigieg with a poison pill ad.
Throughout this campaign, Biden has treated Bernie with kid gloves. If Bernie wins the nomination, Biden will have done his bit to get him there.
Everybody loves Bernie - even Joe.

(16,616 posts)I remember the experts saying "everybody is going to go after Biden" and actually nobody went after Biden, except for a light slap by Cory Booker.
Now they might well all attack Bloomberg.
Me, personally, I like Joe best when he's attacking Trump, expounding on his accomplishments, and fighting for "the soul of America."
Tonight will be different than anything we've seen if it's true that Bloomberg is going to go on the attack against everybody. I'm not sure how that will play with viewers who have grown attached to the candidates.

It's not a prediction, only a statement of consequences.
The best outcome for Biden to stay above it all with Bloomberg and Sanders slugging it out.
