If you don't want Bernie or Bloomberg, it's time to unite. Now.

Who can we unite around?

Although Warren would probably be a good compromise candidate if we go into a brokered convention.

Warren or Biden. Sorry, too many unknowns and gotcha moments with regard to Bloomberg right now. Maybe he can serve in the administration later on.

Biden is the guy that trump got impeached for.

There's a reason why.

As reluctant as I am to give up on Warren, I think Biden would be a safe choice to unite around.

Biden & Booker, perhaps?

You are right that former Vice President Biden has a deep well of good will with most of us.

Yet, Senator Warren is an Okie, educated in Texas. She could turn that purpling state blue. The former VP probably cannot.

Second, Senator Warren is the most liked democrat from every group. Relatively easy unity is possible with her.

I don't believe that Warren ever had a chance of turning Texas blue. None of the polling done either last year or this year ever suggested that Warren was within striking distance of Trump. Other than some of her friends from her time at the UH and UT law schools, I'm not aware of anyone thinking that she was a Texan. Every poll that I saw showed Biden with more favorable results against Trump than Warren.

That gives her street credibility there, in my experience.

Agree Joe Biden is better known and is respected there, at this point, from what I can tell.

Yet, so many Texans don't vote. Elizabeth Warren's life story gives her a unique "in" that could bring people to the polls (that great Texas pride).

On an entirely different note, folks in your state have been extraordinarily kind to me.
Texan hospitality is alive, well and extraordinarily strong.

Sanders' followers will not accept her as a unity candidate. They'll feel that the nomination is being stolen from Sanders.

She's also too far left for many moderates, though I believe most of those will vote for her anyway, especially over Sanders.

I wish to God she was leading with the left wing of the party, rather than Sanders.
