We will not Win the 2020 Presidential Election Unless we Focus on Universal Health Care

The midterm election that resulted in one of the largest upsets by a political party was won on one issue: Health Care.

Trump threatened to take it away. The Republicans TRIED to take it away. And they failed.

Then they lost their seats.

And still, even with all the improvements the ACA has brought, it's not enough. People are still dying because they can't afford their care. The wealthy are insulated from this plight. But the 99% deals with it on a daily basis. Ever increasing premiums combined with high-deductible plans means the average family pays out thousands of dollars before ever seeing anything covered by insurance.

And every day, the Trump Administration does something new to undermine the ACA.

We WON the midterms on Universal Health Care. American Voters will give us the Senate and the Executive if we promise to actually ENACT Universal Health Care.

That does not mean a public option.

It means Medicare For All.

This is not a new concept. Ted Kennedy pushed a Medicare for All bill EVERY SESSION he was in Congress.

It is a simple legislative change.

But it would be a revolutionary change for this country. And it's a change that EVERY OTHER INDUSTRIALIZED NATION HAS MADE.

It IS Time. America IS Ready. They Voted Democrats INTO Office in 2018 on this issue.

They WILL Do So Again in 2020.

But we must have candidates who are willing to take a REAL STAND on the issue. Not Half Measures. The REAL DEAL.

It's not about who can beat Trump. It's about who America is ready to back to get Universal Healthcare finally done.

I think we have wasted enough time and spent enough time in delusion about this. When Sanders and AOC comes out and admits it is not gonna happen, time to figure out what we can do.

8. FIVE years Sanders has been beating up Democrats over M4A, and now he finally admits what Dems

have been saying for FIVE years. Not going to happen. Five years Sanders has used that to trash Democrats. So when reflecting what cause a Trump win, might want to look at a man saying for FIVE years he will give young people free everything and Democrats do not care about them, when it was all bogus.

When we do, Republicans get more or less what they want.

9. No. The point is Sanders used this as a weapon to beat up Democrats for FIVE years.

Something Dems knew was not going to happen. Something Sanders knew was not going to happen. Used it as a weapon to sucker the young and inexperienced and those that refuse to get informed. Five years beating up Dems knowing it was not going to happen. What kind of man does something like that?

but Americans have heard all of this before. Who do they trust to accomplish even half of what they promise? I think it’s about protecting democracy for my children’s generation, which means we must beat Trump in 5/6 states.

If we don’t do that, nothing else matters.

Having a job that pays well ranks higher on the priority list than health care coverage for most Americans.
