12. BS released letters from doctors, not medical records.
Wed Feb 19, 2020, 09:00 PM
Feb 2020

Why did BS proactively and impulsively pledge to release his medical records if he wasn't going to follow through?

The 78-year-old Democratic presidential hopeful said in September that he would “absolutely” release his medical records ahead of the presidential primary season, which kicked off with the Iowa caucuses last week.

“The American people have the right to know whether the person they’re going to be voting for for president is healthy,” Sanders said at the time. “And we will certainly release our medical records ... before the first votes are cast.”

Sanders echoed his vow a few weeks after his Oct. 1 heart attack, telling The Associated Press that he planned to release “comprehensive” medical records by the end of the year.

He released three brief letters from his doctors ― one primary care physician and two cardiologists ― in December that declared he was in “good health currently,” but he has not released his full medical records.

“It’s the right thing to do,”**** Sanders said told NBC’s Chuck Todd in November when asked if he would release his medical records. “The American people have a right to know whether the person they’re going to be voting for for president is healthy.”******

“I think we have released, it’s not just a few letters, as I understand it, we released two letters from cardiologists who are quite well known and one letter from the capitol physician,” Sanders said, adding “So I think we have done everything that, plus, what other candidates have done.”*****

Asked again if he’d be releasing more information, Sanders said “I think probably not.”

Sanders is correct that his release of letters from his doctors is roughly in line with what other candidates have released. Former Vice President Joe Biden released a detailed medical summary several weeks ago that concluded he is “a healthy, vigorous, 77-year-old male, who is fit to successfully execute the duties of
the Presidency.”

https://www.mediaite.com/election-2020/watch-bernie-sanders-promised-to-release-all-the-medical-records-following-heart-attack-now-says-he-probably-wont/

No promise there ****

Fact there. *****

We know that's true because of the summaries his doctors released ****** The same thing the other candidates released.

The problem comes in when people believe everything Chuck Toad, a notable republican hack, pushes is not twisted. Because most Dems know Toad has an agenda and he is a sneaky fucking weasel who stirs his cauldron of shit on a daily basis. YMMV

We will certainly release our medical records before the primaries. I got to get to the doctor. I got to do a series of tests. I can't say when but it will be before the first votes are cast.
he did just that, and he released the same thing Biden and Liz did.

It's strange how when our heart wants to see something, in these case Bernie saying the word "all" the mind tricks us into seeing something that's not there, Bernie released a summary of his records, just as the other candidates released a summary of theirs.

Once again, you can't reconcile that your defense of him flip-flopping shows some double standards, so you are desperately trying to change the topic, and avoid that Sanders isn't living up to his own statement about medical transparency... to UM....IT'S THE MEDIA.....THE MEDIA IS BEING MEAN TO BERNIE!"

You are using fewer "FUCK OFFs" and "FUCKING REQUIREMENTS" than you did in our previous discussion on this, so you've at least calmed down that much.

But thanks for the chance to post, once again, his own words, showing how he flip-flopped. Yes, he flip-flopped, and he would bash any other candidate who would flip-flop like that as unreliable.

October....
Sanders plans to release health records by end of year

"The people do have a right to know about the health of a senator, somebody who's running for president of the United States -- full disclosure," Sanders said, pledging again release his full medical records.

I want to make it comprehensive,” Sanders said in explaining the delay. “The answer is I will, probably by the end of the year.”

This week...

Bernie Sanders says he won't release full medical records

Bernie is healthy, and he released his records. He is 78 years old and is doing a schedule people half his age could not keep up with.

a few letters which are CLEAR that they are talking about his health TODAY (even though the doctors may know something about his future prognosis).

And they don't detail the damage done to the heart muscle in his recent heart attack or how his circulatory system is doing (percent occluded, etc).

They don't say what his prognosis is regarding future cardiac events.

And the fact that he does 3 rallies a day means absolutely nothing.

39. He released his health records in December.

He was examined after the heart-attack, any damage would show up in that exam.

Are people saying he should have another health test now, and release another set of records?

Putting it right where even the goats can get at it (down to the roots)

Tim Wise:

Asking Sanders to release health records he promised to release is not remotely equal to birtherism. What an ignorant argument, Sanders HAD a heart attack. Obama was NOT born in Kenya. One is true, the other false. The parallel is absurd and diminishes the racism of the latter.[/div]

Exactly - he put it into words for me.

Sanders is not facing an a racist attack from Trump here - and she shouldn't be diminishing the experience of Black Americans (such as myself) who have been told to 'go back to Africa' by racists in their life.

These two are not equal.

Once again - Sanders needs to reign in his spokespeople. She's being insulting to those of us who have no affinity to Africa - we are AMERICANS who are black and are sick and tired of the bullshit. We know PRECISELY what birthers were doing - and she should be running from any analogies to it.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

The 78-year-old Vermont senator has repeatedly promised to release his health records at some point, but he outlined a likely timeline in an interview with The Associated Press.

“I want to make it comprehensive,” Sanders said in explaining the delay. “The answer is I will, probably by the end of the year.”
