I didn't think Bloomberg was running in SC, yet this seems to indicate he is getting votes

(25,183 posts)when a more respectable poll of SC voters is coming out? My lady and I are going to do absentee voting today or tomorrow, as we will be out of state from Friday through till after the primary.

My only recommendation is that you should forget the polls, and vote for the candidate that best reflects your views
If you are trying to determine which candidate has the best chance for the nomination and also beating trump, that will be difficult from this poll.
I will be voting Super Tuesday, and will be looking closely at Nevada and SC, and use it in my weighting for which candidate to go with
Is Bloomberg on the SC ballot?

(25,183 posts)but I have to say that I'm curious about the polls in my state. One thing that flabbergasts me is that other than TV ads and billboards, there's nothing telling me that a major early primary is coming up within ten days. I have only seen a couple of bumper stickers, and only one yard sign. I don't feel an enthusiasm for the primary here, but maybe that will change after Nevada. By the time we're back from the West Coast, it will be over.

(25,183 posts)but he will probably get some write-ins that will take more than a couple of days to tally up, not enough time for a headline before Super Tuesday.

(25,183 posts)Downthread it has been pointed out correctly that write-ins are not allowed on primary ballots in SC. It's my second election here, and I'm still learning the ropes.

(11,986 posts)I see no indication that Bloomberg is mentioned in this poll at all. (And he shouldn't be, since he's not on the ballot.) Where are you seeing that?

(5,255 posts)Many polls are released to push narratives. Change Research is a pollster with a low reputation whose polls in my opinion do just that.
My point is that even a narrative-pushing poll can only show a tie. I expected at least one low-rated poll with a Sanders lead.
