A guy was just on MSNBC with Katie Tur about a book he wrote.

I think his name was Piper? Anyway he made a good point that made my ears perk up. He said it doesn't help to talk about how racist and woman he is, it doesn't help to say he is crass, he admits to that every day or does something to prove it. If we want to win we have to talk about the economy. He is out there telling everyone how much better the economy is doing , low unemployment, high stock market prices. We need to ask people how is the economy working for YOU? Who is this great economy benefiting?

We need to beat that into the electorate who somehow thinks a great stock market helps them, even if they don't own one single share of stock. We need to tell them that the 25 dollar increase in their take home pay will not get them where they want to be financially. Educate the populous.

People know he is toad and most of them don't care!

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

almost everyday. It is out there, people who are not the 1-2%ers or shithole's supporters know the economy is going downward. We feel it, see it, and our pocket book know it.

would do well to take on Bill Clinton's winning election line:

"How're you doin'?"

It was a very good line and made a lot of people recognize his compassion.

He was an amazing campaigner. He met me, looked me in the eyes, grabbed my hands and said "How're you doin" like he really cared. At that moment things were tough for us and I felt comfortable telling him. I'm sure he was just blowing me smoke but it worked for sure!

For a lot of the MAGAts, Trump's racism, sexism and all-purpose assholery isn't a bug, it's a feature. They like it that he's a dick and that he "owns the libs."

A local business recently put up a yard sign: TRUMP 2020 MAKE LIBERALS CRY AGAIN.

Strange flex as I'm sure that's going to help his business given the area, but that's all they care about. They don't give a f about the economy or anything; they care about owning the libs. He is celebrated for being the goon he is.

That being said, I don't think too many of our candidates are focusing on that aspect which is a good thing as it didn't help last time. He has completely debased the office and he's going to stoop even farther to get reelected.

Bill Clinton circa 1992 was a marvel at making random voters feel like the most important person in the world for a few seconds, understanding their issues/frustrations. That goes a long way.
