And Liz is whip-smart, can think on her feet, and isn't afraid, so she would come right back at red don, but without being crude or vulgar.

See: her recent remark about whether she would want her own Pence--"I already have a dog"--as just one example of her social media skills. People ooh and ahh about Bloomberg's twitter jabs at red don, but he has a team of the best writers money can buy who come up with this stuff. Liz can do it herself, on the spot.

Bernie is looking he will have the plurality of the votes not the nomination. However, he will claim the nomination. The question is how close does a 2nd place finisher have to be to make a claim.

And, can that 2nd place finisher make a deal(s) with other candidates for their delegates?

Bloomberg was totally unprepared for the criticism. Doesn't he have a team that hits him with the hard questions before the debate, and guide him towards a best answer?

Bloomberg is like Trump, overconfident in his own abilities. Having considerable skills in business does not automatically transfer to political or debating skills, nor does money buy you those skills.

Bloomberg's response to Warren's attacks was like . . . . hey, I'm alright with my past, why aren't you?

Warren is the *only* candidate who can unite the left wing and the moderates.

She’s smart, she’s tenacious, she’s right on the issues and she’d unite the party. And WIN in November.

To me, it’s a no brainer.

I’d love to see a Warren/Harris ticket, but I don’t think the country’s ready for a two-woman ticket. When I think of the options, I don’t like any of the current candidates as a running mate. Maybe Castro. Yeah, I like that idea. Warren/Castro 2020 has a nice ring to it.

Full Disclosure— I’ve been against Warren since she bashed Obama and Clinton on trade right up to November 2016 because of fundamental misinformation, helping give us trump and her MFA junk where in November 2019 she increased her estimate of the cost from $3.5 Trillion annually, to $5.2 T, while saying it won’t increase middle-class taxes.

She brought that message to Iowa and New Hampshire and nobody listened to her. I'm glad she changed course last night and came out Rocky strong, which puts her back on the map. The good thing is that she's on the records as a unifier. And, because I know what she really stands for, I am more than willing to watch her bring us together because I know that whatever she compromising on will not steer far from her core beliefs.

It's down to the wire time for Liz. If she can manage highly competitive top three finishes in both NV and SC, maybe. But she kept that dream alive for now last night.

primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden

He finally came in first in Georgia but failed to do so on the same day in six other races.

and still have a shot under some circumstances. But at some point the buzzer sounds and time runs out. If she finishes 4th in NV there is no way that will impress voters in SC where she is seriously trailing in African American support already. She can't finish 4th in SC heading into Super Tuesday and expect to somehow pick up a large number of delegates nationally on that day anyway.

"In 1992, after losing earlier primaries, Democrat Bill Clinton won several Southern primaries on Super Tuesday". Is that what you see happening for Elizabeth Warren if she is far off the money in SC? Bill Clinton was from the South. Elizabeth Warren is from New England, and she came in 4th in NH. California isn't a Southern state and it has the most delegates to offer on Super Tuesday. Do you think Warren can come close to matching Bernie's likely vote tally in CA?

Just a month ago, Joe was the "inevitable" candidate.

Now, Bernie's supporters insist his nomination is "inevitable."

But things can change in a New York minute in ways no one can predict, not even the best polls, TV pundits, or DU analysts.

and I support Bloomberg and am conceding this. I support Bloomberg and live with the baggage because he is an effective attack dog with a massive war chest. Warren showed she can be a fighter and take on Trump. I couldn’t agree more that she seems like the one candidate that can unite all the factions. Another performance like that and I will switch preference and support her. But let’s not forget Democrats, don’t hate on Bloomberg too much. He is after all on OUR side now and a friend with $63B in the bank is a good friend to have.

Go look up Bloomberg's glowing endorsement of G.W. Bush in 2004. The one where he talks about how great the Republican values are and how G.W. Bush will usher in many years of Republican rule.

Look up his endorsement of Susan Collins in Maine.

It makes me sick that the Democratic party could see an entitled $53+ Billionaire as its "savior" and I suggest we should be seeing the red "danger" signs flashing instead.

Take Bloomberg's entitled personality, power and money then couple that with the current Executive Presidency that the Republicans have put in place and you have a recipe for disaster.

We have great candidates on the stage, minus Bloomberg, and I hope to be able to vote for one of them.

Having Bloomberg on stage provided a foil for each of them, and gave Warren the opportunity defend her fellow nominees in one breath and then eviscerate them in the next.

On the other hand, Mayor Pete, while brilliant at times, came across as petty near the end when he kept attacking Klobuchar on forgetting a name. His approach toward her bugged me perhaps more than it should have.

No one is perfect, though. I support Buttigieg and Warren equally.

Followed by (my ranking obviously):
2) Sanders
3) Klobuchar
4/5) prefer her over Sanders Buttigieg - Biden (toss up)
6) Bloomberg

Good to see Warren excel as she did. I but will vote for the one who appears to have the best prospect of taking the nomination at primary voting time here in Oregon.
