Is Bloomberg actually running for a cabinet position? (Original Post) GreenPartyVoter Feb 2020 OP
Who in their right mind would put that man in a position of power? Gravitycollapse Feb 2020 #1
Biden might be open to it if he needed Bloomberg out of the race. GreenPartyVoter Feb 2020 #2
Sounds like shady BS. Hope Biden wouldn't do something like that. Gravitycollapse Feb 2020 #5

He's running to piss Trump off. Maybe he wants Trump's head to literally explode.

He did not appear to be running for President

A thought I had today - his demeanor during the debates had an "I don't give a shit about this" quality, but he was jabbing Bernie hard.

But his attacks on Sanders will only strengthen the resolve of Sanders supporters, and those who are on the fence aren't likely to like him enough to be swayed.

I don't see a Sanders/Bloomberg ticket, hahaha

He didn't seem to give a shit about anything, wasn't prepared to answer the attacks, and didn't seem to care that he was getting attacked that much. He did, however, have plenty of jabs against Sanders.
So is he clearing Sanders out and taking all the fire to let someone else (Warren? Biden?) come back to the front?
It's all very 12th-Dimensional-Chess, but it's what lack of sleep and overcaffienation does...

Why save it? I can see him going after Sanders, but he certainly didn't go at it as much as I would expect, if that was his main goal. Maybe saving it for pre-Super Tuesday debate next week?

That after beating the crap out of Bloomberg, during a commercial break, Warren and Bloomberg seemed to be having a somewhat pleasant chat without the stressed out body language seen during, say, the Warren /Sanders confrontation a few weeks ago.

primary today, I would vote for:

Bloomberg wants Trump to be defeated.

His candidacy is just his way of helping a viable Democratic candidate to emerge.

Then he can spend great gobs of general election money through political action committees to elect the Democrat.
