Democratic Primaries

After last night's debate, I settled on a decision.
Not Bloomberg because of his baggage and how weak he appeared. I don't think he's as electable as many believe. Not Bernie. He looked unhinged and angry to me. At one point I thought he was going to pop a blood vessel. Plus, his changing his mind on his medical records made him untrustworthy in my eyes. That's not to mention his so-called revolution that he's been yelling about for the last several years. I love Pete and Amy, but it just wasn't a good night for them, IMO. They didn't come across that strong.
Joe Biden was my first choice to begin with. All the crap that's gone on so far had me doubting my decision. In the end, I like Joe, I like where he stands and I think he's the best one out of the bunch to beat tRump.
If he's not able to get the nomination, I will vote for the nominee even if it's for someone I don't like.

Sorry - I just don't like Bu Sh.
She DID know the President of Mexico "is the Mexican President", however, despite not knowing his name.

(31,011 posts)In fact, that's not a good enough reason to not support someone, IMO.
There are far more important issues than if a candidate can name the president of a country.

(2,657 posts)I will probably get my ballot on Friday, and will be voting Joe!
Bernie has the slimmest of chances against Trump. Biden has strong support among African Americans, and he worked for 6 Senate terms New Jersey which is composed of 21% Black voters. Biden knows how to work with a minority population, and that is critical in 2020.
Joe Biden, then vote blue no matter who!

(68,565 posts)I was shaken by Iowa and New Hampshire even though I know it is not important...but last night I thought Bloomberg would not be the nominee...and I am more and more convinced Sanders will lose not only the presidency, but the house and the legislatures and governors...in a census year...we must if we can stop him from becoming the nominee...He has lackluster support really and hopefully there will be some winnowing...hoping to see Klobachar, Buttigieg and Warren drop out by or on super Tuesday. If we end up in a brokered convention...we can't allow someone with 30 % or less support be our nominee...let's hope it doesn't happen.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
