Reminder that Bernie's policies are not actually radical. At all.
I know, I know, people will say "but this is America." That's that whole point! Why do you think Bernie has such a huge movement of grassroots support? Because, look at what America has become over the last 40 years!
Last night, Bernie brought up worker representation on corporate boards, and he was called a "communist" by another candidate. This is in a Democratic primary, the left-of-center party, not the GOP. Did any pundits point out how false and insane that was? No. They were too busy talking about how "radical" Bernie is, they didn't bother to point out that worker representation in corporate governance is a widely implemented policy all over the world. It has nothing to do with "communism". I haven't seen polls, but I'd bet that if there was a poll, like the rest of Bernie's agenda, it would have majority support.
Like Bernie says, enough is enough! People want a country where, if someone were to call a common and popular pro-labor policy "communist" they would get laughed out of the room.
