1. Aside from the fact that Bloomberg is a Democrat, Trump has 90%+ approval rating among Republicans.

All the money in the world couldn’t take Trump out in the primary.

He would not have a prayer in A Republican primary.

3. Because he's not a Republican.

Hasn't been one since 2007 and even then, it was only as a tactical move.

Second, a liberal Republican wasn't going to get far against Trump. No one was likely to get far against Trump.

4. The GOP already cancelled 10 states' primaries to rig it for Trump.

He couldn't win, even if he tried. The RNC rigged the process to keep challengers out.

5. Because he was an Independent in 2007 and didn't register as Democrat until 2018

I'm sure the Republicans wouldn't have allowed him in when Trump was running.

C-SPAN footage of the event shows former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani gamely clapping along as Bloomberg touts New York’s history and role in helping to nominate Abraham Lincoln at the 1860 Republican National Convention.

Bloomberg was a Republican in 2003, having registered with the party to run for mayor in 2001. He served two terms as a Republican before becoming an independent in 2007, ahead of his third mayoral bid.

Though he spoke at the 2016 Democratic convention in favor of then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Bloomberg did not re-register as a Democrat until 2018.

7. Same question asked yesterday

here was my response:

I could be mistaken

But I thought some state parties passed new rules to make primarying trump not possible? Even so, he would get crushed. Sitting President still wildly popular with the goons. He’d beat Weld though.

And it’s still mostly winner take all last I checked. Maybe he picks up a state. Even here in the Northeast Moderate Republican area, there is no such thing. They’re all fucking maniacs. The old New England Republicans are now Democrats or unaffiliated.

some even cancelled primaries, there's no way. I don't think even the hundreds of millions he has spent so far could have penetrated the cloud around tRump's Kool-Aid drinkers.

The man is too socially progressive to ever fit inside the Flying Monkey Brigade. He wouldn't do any better than Weld.

That being said, I understand Weld took 9.1% in NH. Just enough to be an irritant.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
