(6,448 posts)The women in her party are Guano Girls (Bachmann, Palin, Ernst, Blackburn, and scores of others). The historically "soft" Dems are showing passion and guts. Therefore, they're "nasty" and unqualified.
Suddenly, the GOP is in fear of hormones taking over for 5 days a month, bur when Carly Fiorina or one of theirs runs for prez, it's okay.

(945 posts)Im afraid that these naive people will stop participating in the process once a President Sanders cannot deliver on his pie-in-the-sky promises. Well loose lots of democratic voters for the next 50 years to disillusionment

(65,173 posts)Advocate for them now and then we can deal with Congress. It is never going to be something that turns me off from Sanders. AOC is probably right that not everything can be passed right away, but why should Sanders running for President settle for less than he believes. He will be in a good position for any compromise.

(7,341 posts)The president is the textbook definition of a curmudgeon. A nasty bitter mean old bully who relished in childish name calling. Always gets a free pass in the media and his cult calls him a "counterpuncher"
Senator Warren shows strength of character and leadership and she's portrayed as mean or with anger issues.
Where have we seen this before? When another female candidate was called a "nasty woman" for standing up to a childish bully.

(12 posts)AOC is absolutely right. Anger is an appropriate response to injustice. And, even if it gives Never-Trumpers like Rubin the willies, it is definitely appropriate when Plutocrats are trying to take it all, including and especially the Presidency.
Righteously angry Senator Warren is a great look.

(5,388 posts)are negative accusations you throw at people who say things you don't want to hear.
Warren was strong and assertive, throwing well deserved critical questions and considered opinions.
I saw the strength of a Maggie Thatcher, the conviction of an Obama that the most important thing is the greater good for people of the country, and not just selling oneself as leadership potential.
All positives in my book.
