Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumHow/why is Tulsi still at 1% in the DU poll?
I've seen zero support for her, and there are only two entries in her forum - one is now listing Sanders as their preferred candidate and the other has posting privileges revoked.
I would have to think that some people checked her as a favorite some time back and don't hang out here anymore. I don't think she will drop out, even though she also polls at near zero in the general population, because her candidate status gets her the occasional interview on FOX or other outlets.
So, any Tulsi supporters out there?

(25,428 posts)A couple post fairly often, usually in contrarian fashion, which isn't unexpected considering their candidate's views on some issues.

(13,865 posts)I would actually be interested to hear why they are supporting her.
She had a lot of advertising here in SC back around Christmas, but except for the few billboards that are still up she isn't active here.

(25,428 posts)She's running for attention and media opportunities. If she was running a serious campaign, she probably would have dropped out by now so her supporters (all 1-2%) would (likely) go to Sanders.

(11,996 posts)I did watch her in a town hall last week.
I did like her being a vet, her anti-war stance, and her seeing desire to reach across the aisle, including going on Fox IF she is trying to grab Rep votes..
Other then that didn't seem to be too much substance.

(13,865 posts)She is the only candidate that would not commit to supporting the eventual Dem nominee.
I've assumed, since she is not running for re-election, that she is looking for a FOX news job. Pays well, and they need the occasional attractive brunette for their "diversity."

(10,890 posts)FFR'd and PPR'd from here, or who refused to agree to the Terms and Conditions back in June 2016. As to why she's popular, I don't know or remember.
The site at which DU (code named "SV" ) is a frequent topic of conversation. They don't say "DU" or "DemocraticUnderground", because they have a rule against talking about DU (because in the beginning, they talked obsessively about DU, and it wasn't fondly). So they code name us "S.V.", short for Site Voldemort, after Lord Voldemort, the Harry Potter fictional character who must not be named. So we're the site that must not be named.

(8,171 posts)notice pintobean is PPRd but his candidate choice is still in his profile. The other 2 who were PPRd reverted to undecided.
I saw a number of (10-12) FFR people, some who hadn't posted in over a year with a candidate choice in their profile.
I asked Earl about it back in Nov. but didn't get a response.

Screw that. And again, good for you.

(3,695 posts)That would require a very high level of naivete. A clue is the increasing in flaming posts by people who claim they're still undecided. Some of the posts are clearly meant to do nothing other than get DU members engaging in virtual battles with each other. Sadly, it works.

You have to be an idiot not to see the occasional obvious disrupter here. There are not many, but a couple of dozen can cause a lot of wasted energy and hard feelings.
