Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumOh, Jeremy Corbyn or is that Bernie Bros'?!?!
In the UK election a whole load of young people went mad for the old paternalistic chap that was Corbyn. A socialist with the most socialist credentials ever (circa 1965), no understanding of identity politics and there there we will take care of you, failing to recognise that most people are inspirational, that they are not victims. The largest socialist democratic party in the Europe had the worst defeat since 1935. The Corbynistas are the same as the Bernie Bros, no dissent, no argument, you cannot possibly be a progressive unless you buy into their canard.
I see parallels with our GE where an old crusty social democrat went up against a privileged rich racist and got very badly spanked and as Bernie seems to be leading the polls, I fear that history might repeat itself. What is it anyway about old white men - who are literally older than dirt- thinking they need to be the ones to sort shit out?
One last point, in the UK we are for more left than the US, even with Boris in the hot seat. The UK put a huge middle finger up to Corbyn, irrespective of them being the largest socialist party in Europe and having a very enthusiastic core membership. Barack Obama was to the right of our Conservative PM Cameron. And he was framed as pinkomarxistsocialisthateroffreedon. Bernie cannot win a general. That is a disaster for the world and America. It is food for thought.
I write this because as a progressive monster for truth, who daily is deeply distressed about the bastardisation of freedom, it can never be Bernie or bust, it cannot be Bernie. Winning is everything and December in the UK tells you everything you need to know about that.

Russia interefered there and here... make no mistake imo, it is all part of a plan.
Putin wants democracies all over to fail, and so far, I believe he has hatched his plan in several areas.
