Related: About this forumMy president can do math
I just heard Joe on MSNBC describing instant runoff voting while explaining the Nevada caucuses and then asked "How do you calculate that?"
I need my president to be able to do math.

It's similar to what Dems already do in many state caucuses. Eliminate the lowest place candidates and their voters choose a second choice from the remaining candidates. Rinse and repeat until someone wins.

They're not all calculated the same. Without further information and context, including the number of spots allowed in the ranking and the cutoffs for moving to the next choice, etc., your president probably wouldn't be able to calculate it, either.

When this system is used, and didn't state the point very clearly.

We already have an anti-intellectual in the White House. We don't need any more of that crap.
