The risk of stroke is higher in the first year following a heart attack, especially during the first month. After a year, however, only the risk of ischemic stroke remains elevated, according to study in the July 2016 Stroke that tracked more than a quarter-million heart attack survivors over a 30-year period. (See "Types of stroke: Blockage vs. bleeding" for a primer on the different types.)
The heightened stroke risk isn't surprising, given that heart attacks and ischemic strokes have nearly identical risk factorsnamely, high blood pressure, diabetes, unhealthy cholesterol levels, lack of exercise, obesity, and cigarette smoking. But other factors can also come into play.

(1,205 posts)the first vote.
The only fair thing to do, is release the records before we vote.
He lied. He isn't going to do it. It is only fair by his own words now he is telling us to shove it because he does not think it will affect people voting for him.
Firstly, while running on integrity? And secondly, we have had four years of this and I do not wnat another four of the President ignoring his responsibilities to the people for his own interests.

(1,205 posts)brag about clean health? What old man would not let ego carry him around boasting about clean bill of health after a heart attack that to men is a sign of weakness. The only reason he refuses to release the records is because they are not good. We can now make the assumption since he says the only fair thing is to release before first vote then backtracking to look like a real ass not giving it to the voters.
That is the only conclusion we can draw and shame on Sanders.
