Bernie and Trumps campaign were both mentioned in that report as being aided by Russia. Did you not read any of the report?

(Volume I, Part IV, pgs. 146-147, 166-167, 173)
— Karoun Demirjian

2:30 p.m.: Russian interference sought to boost Bernie Sanders in 2016, report says
The report provides a fresh look at allegations that the Russian-based Internet Research Agency not only interfered in the 2016 campaign on social media on behalf of Donald Trump but also to help Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), a candidate for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Internal IRA documents “referred to support for the Trump campaign and opposition to candidate Clinton,” according to the report. While much of this section of the report is redacted, it cites directions to IRA operators not to harm Sanders.

“Main idea: Use any opportunity to criticize Hillary [Clinton] and the rest (except Sanders and Trump — we support them),” quotes the report.
Allegations of the pro-Sanders strategy by Russian influencers came up in 2018, when the Justice Department charged 13 individuals and three companies with interfering illegally.

Late Tuesday, as Mr. Sanders was pulling out a close win in New Hampshire, Lloyd Blankfein, the former Goldman Sachs chief executive, wrote on Twitter that the Vermont senator would “ruin our economy” if elected president.

He succinctly summed up Wall Street’s feelings, calling Mr. Sanders just as polarizing as President Trump, while being worse for the country. “If I’m Russian, I go with Sanders this time around,” he wrote.

Actually, I find it more plausible for Vladimir Putin to encourage a divisive candidate lacking broad appeal to get the maximum mileage out of Individual One at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Biden (Or Warren, or Klobuchar) wins the nomination, farewell Donnie. If, on the other hand, Bernie gets the nomination, he’ll bomb at the polls, Donnie gets four more years, and the USA (and the rest of the world is (Phillips-headed).

Vladimir Vladimirovich wants to protect his investment.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
