Biden starts to tank in swing state polling then we have to make decision but right now he's whoopin Red Don's ass the best.

Everybody likes Joe. He has connected over the years with his personal loss in public view. He’s in their hearts. That counts.

I see two factors:

One is the order of the primaries. If, say, South Carolina had gone first, he probably would have won and people's impressions would be different right now.

The other is Bloomberg. Biden's drop in the polls matches Bloomberg's rise pretty closely, so I assume they're related. And whether your concern is winning or governance, I think Biden is the much better candidate of the two.

It's still early.
