infiltrating america and a secretive and at times brutal group of US agents that engaged them here and around the world. Loyalties were always questionable, everyone had to watch their backs. It was sort of like "24 Hours", but without the wall to wall ass-kicking violence of the character that Kiefer Sutterland (sp?) played outright violating the Geneva Conventions to extract information from terrorists (or even innocent people that got caught up in his shit). Homeland centered around a female agent and her complex relationship with fellow agents and her boss/mentor.
