Seattle Times, San Francisco Chronicle endorse Klobuchar

Two major west coast newspapers on Friday endorsed Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.) in her bid for the White House.

The Seattle Times and San Francisco Chronicle joined the growing list of local newspapers endorsing the midwest moderate, who surged in polls after her performance in New Hampshire but still trails several front-runners heading into the peak of the primary season. Klobuchar has been endorsed by The New York Times, Mercury News, East Bay Times and dozens of publications in Iowa and New Hampshire.

The two newspapers' endorsements followed talking points she has often used to describe herself, touting her as pragmatic, realistic and with a proven record of appealing to GOP voters.

And it very much is. I went to two of his rallies here in 2016. The lines and wait were insane. My bestie just applied to be a Sanders delegate to the convention in Milwaukee (he works for the campaign).

I’ll have to read the op-Ed. The Chronicle is gallopingly liberal, so this is interesting. I’ll keep an eye out for the rationale. About to take the nephew types for pizza, else I’d delve further. But it is a surprise, certainly. I would’ve guessed Warren, honestly.

I could see Biden or Bloolmberg seriously consider her. But, I don't know about Sanders. In fact, I can't really think of a name Sanders would consider or who would be willing to be on his ticket other than maybe AOc. And shes too young.
