Related: About this forumJulin Castro's full interview on The Breakfast Club
I know a lot of other men are getting the buzz, but Castro is the real deal. Conversely, he should highlight his five-year term as mayor of San Antonio. It's a million plus population and just as important as his stent of working in the federal government. I like how precise he is with facts, and clearly, it matters to him to get it right the first time. I don't think he's running for another cabinet position or VP.

(53,693 posts)1. Castro has to reach the 65,000 donor plateau to qualify for the debates.
The Democratic Party would benefit greatly if a national audience could hear his take on the issues.

(3,352 posts)2. I'm hoping between this appearance and his Rachel Maddow interview.
He'll exceed the donor qualification.
