We know that they are backing Trump to be reelected... so they are backing Bernie as the Democratic contender.

Logic.

Trying to say that the Democrats (or whatever the "Democratic establishment' is that he's talking about) are an enemy on par with the GOP is just ridiculous.

It appears that it is indeed about "Him"

Even if Bernie's health holds out (there's got to be a reason he refused to follow through with the assurance that the people deserved full comprehensive disclosure of his medical records) I don't see his campaign overcoming the vetting (despite the GOP's best efforts to counteract it during the primary), and now this further damage to his claims of full transparency.

His die-hard supporters, like Trumps, will never let anything change their mind about him, but even the most ballistic enthusiasm doesn't give someone more than one vote.

This bizarre tweet just makes me wonder if he's feeling OK, because it sure doesn't seem to be very good campaign strategy in a Democratic primary to equate the GOP and the Democratic "establishment" whatever that means this week, as being out to get him.

If I were to vote in a presidential

We learned that they are backing Trump for POTUS, and they are trying to help Sanders in the primary.

The only logical conclusion is that they think Trump will beat Sanders in the GE.

If they are going to tank Sanders, it would be in a GE, not a primary.

Perhaps it's an attempt to get "the establishment" to say something negative publicly about the tweet, which would be useful to stoke suspicion of tampering concerning any lower than expected Nevada caucus results.

Under the Bipartisan Campaign Reform Act, an entity directly or indirectly established by a federal candidate or officeholder is not allowed to “solicit, receive, direct, transfer, or spend funds in connection with an election for Federal office” unless the “funds are subject to the limitations, prohibitions, and reporting requirements” of federal law.

According to Our Revolution’s tax returns showing contribution amounts but not contributor names, data compiled and first reported by the Associated Press, from 2016 to 2018 Our Revolution raised almost $1 million dollars from contributors who gave in excess of the applicable $5,000 contribution limit, including multiple contributions of between $100,000 and $300,000. Our Revolution has not disclosed any of its contributors to the FEC, as required by federal campaign finance law
